As I have said before I'm not an electronics genius yet but still trying.

My project at present is a very nice sx117. I have re-caped it and it receives just as good as any of my receivers but with one problem. It is at least 100 kHz off on all the bands.

Do I need to do a complete alignment ( I don't have the two alignment crystals 9.5 & 18mHz) or is there someplace else I should look at first?
