Tell me if my understanding of the RIT control is as follows:

With the RIT pot knob at 12 o'clock, I should be able to turn the RIT function on and off without changing the receive frequency. Then I should have equal receive frequency adjustment on either side of the 12 o'clock position.

My SR-150 RIT function is not centered. My RIT pot knob has to be at about 9 o'clock to have the receive frequency remain the same with the RIT on or off. This then limits my frequency adjustment to the clockwise position only.

I could find no information in a quick scan of the manual that would indicate how to adjust and correct this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
