[Hallicrafters] lost package

There is a couple of USPS choices you can make. 1. Certified Mail that
is easier to track and if you want accountability then, 2. Registered
mail. Each time a registered package is handled the handler must sign.
Then document the value and insure for that amount. Be sure about the
documentation.
Registered mail has certain packaging requirements so you should study
them before using. It is more expensive but with expensive things like
gold it is the only way to go. Certified is more expensive as well but
if it is necessary to have documentation of delivery, then they are the
best way to ship.
And don't do anything through a payment service that has access to one
of your bank accounts. That is just plain dumb. If you are in that big
of a hurry there is Western Union or reputable, reliable companies, you
can even use bill pay through your bank with the recipient's routing
number. Pay Pal definitely is not a good way to do business as far as I
am concerned. You may be ok if you are in business and watch your
accounts all the time, but what hobbyist does?
