Brian, I own a pretty decent S-76 which I recapped and refurbished a few years ago. A much better radio in my opinion than any of the S-40, S-85, SX-99, etc. 8 tube receivers. Very sensitive with decent selectivity, has dual conversion, and you have to love that giant s-meter. Full of black beauty capacitors that should be replaced and not really suited for SSB, it was the early predecessor to the highly regarded SX-96 and SX-100. Somewhat hard to find in decent condition.
