fyi.  their is more than one schematic for the ht 40. thanks to all of the replies that i received for the schematic and manual, i received two different wiring diagrams for the radio. some resistance, capacitance and wattage values are different by a factor of ten and the actual wiring is different on the two schematics. the ht 40 that i have looks like it may have been factory assembled. the schematic on baba differs from my ht 40. trying to trouble shoot with the wrong schematic can be a pain in the rear. the problem looks like a flat final tube so i have ordered some from ebay. i wonder of anyone else has run into this problem? mickey wa6fiz
