[Hallicrafters] SX115 Help

Hi guys.  Appreciate any ideas on the following.
 
I'm resurrecting an old SX115 that, happily, fired up ok after a very long  
period of nonuse.
 
Radio has reasonable strength signals on 80 thru 20, and I haven't fiddled  
with the other bands yet.
 
The weird thing is that on 80 through 20, the bands tune backwards, i.e. at 
 4000 I can hear cw and at 3500 I hear SSB, and the band seems ok in  
between.  USB and LSB aren't flipped or anything odd like that.
 
Does this sound like anything anyone has seen before?  I figured it  
couldn't hurt to ask before downloading a manual and getting to work.
