[Hallicrafters] SX-42 Pedestal?

Well, I certainly didn't mean to start such a spirited discussion.....

Fortunately the sx-42 I am buying does have what I believe is the correct
pedestal.


Having said that, I find the sx-28 quite an attractive beast - cosmetically.
Don't know about its performance as I haven't fired it up.  Of course,
considering it's
Age, I suspect it has its limitations.  However, I collect these beast
because they represent
(to me) a certain engineering achievement for their time. Noting my
collection though, I seemed 
To have deviated from that in regards to some of my radio :).
