Good post Greg.

I'd like to add that over the past several years I've kept the original
parts from radios I've recapped.    The baggies and jelly jars don't take up
much space,  and those parts will be available in the future should I, or
subsequent owner, decide to do a more in depth restoration as contrasted to
an electrical restoration which is what I consider recapping to be.
