[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters Knob skirts

Anyone have any good suggestions on where to obtain, or how to reburbish
knob skirts?  Specifically those on the SX-28 and SX-28A.  My knobs are in
beautiful shape, but many of the skirts have considerable wear in the black
paint and/or lettering.  I would also be interested in having new main
tuning and bandspread dials made.  If anyone has done this before, I would
be very interested to hear about it.  I have scanned my dials and reduced
them to near black and white by using a filter to reduce the amber
discoloration to near white.  Silk screening is the only way I know of off
the top of my head, however not sure who does it, or would do such a small
job.  The other problem is how to remove the plastic dials from the metal
flanges and then replace them...  They appear pressed in place or something.
