OK, Here's my SX-115 story. I received a call last year that there was one
for sale in Chicago that I really should check out. I found out it was
being sold by the family of an SK. They said he was a ham and won it at a
hamfest in the early sixties, brought it home and tried it out once then put it
back in the box and put it in the closet where it had been all these
years. I drove up to take a look at it and there it was in the original
Hallicrafters box with all the original packing materials and the manual in a paper
envelope. It cost me $1500 but I also believe the family needed the money
so I was happy to do the transaction.

I remember that well, Carl. More than a few people were envious. Just
further proves the point - you don't have to pay a 'collector' price
unless you want to. :D
