[Hallicrafters] Flood Victim SX-28

She's a sad one, allright.  I looked at this one several days ago before it
was relisted.  Apparently even the poor ignorant buyers could see death in
the eyes of this 28.  

Actually, Roy, here an interesting headline to lend a bit of credence to
your thoughts... "Jan 9, 2008 6:37 am US/Central Northern Indiana Left
Devastated By Floods; At Least 3 Dead In North Central, Northwest Part Of
State" (the headline) further into the story.." Valparaiso Subdivisions
Inundated"; ""What we do here is pray to God," said Susan Powers, as she
watched a newly formed creek flow across a white gravel road by her house on
Valparaiso's north side near Flint Lake."

"Powers' back yard, like that of her 10 neighbors, is located in a dip and
was swamped with more than 4 feet of water Tuesday. The residents said water
drains from businesses and subdivisions all over Valparaiso. It flooded
cars, Dumpsters and garages with more than a foot of water. In Steve
Conder's basement, clothes, plastic tubs and bottles floated in a foot of
murky brown water."

The 28's patina does look a bit more like murky brown water, doesn't it?

really it's a radio that's been in a flood for a LONG time and looks
