[Hallicrafters] What is a correct era VFO for the HT-9?

I have both the black pre WW2 and the later gray cabinet versions.

The Johnson 122 is a candidate for the 1946 version but what else was used 
during its production? I prefer 160-10M coverage which eliminates the HT-18. 
Ive been using a Heath HG-10B on the early one for now and just got the late 
one on the air.

For the early one the only model I can think of at the moment is the plug in 
coil Meissner.
