[Hallicrafters] Transistors and Quantum Mechanics

Plus to fully understand Transistor Action  and Semiconductors  required 
the knowledge of Quantum Mechanics (Solid State Physics) which was  in a 
developmental stage back in the early 1920's even though the  effects  were 
already known.
