Subject: [Hallicrafters] Need help with Hallicrafters SR-150.
My SR-150 was working great until I removed the front panel to do some
touch-up etc.
After putting everything back together I find that the transmit is not
working. I have looked at all the wiring etc that might have been affected
by removing the front but just can’t seem to find what went wrong. What
happens is this. Using the PTT there is steady power out (about 15 watts or
so) with the mic gain turned all the way down and no audio into the mic. On
CW, there is no power out at all with RF gain turned all the way up. Is
there a service manual available for this radio, does anyone know? I have
the original manual that came with it but it is not much good in this case.
The receiver seems to be working ok. I would appreciate any help with this
problem.
Murray (VE7MGY).
