[Hallicrafters] More Then One Howard Company?

I cant help with the Howard names Duane.

What I have read is that Halligan had no manufacturing facility of his own 
until the later version of the SX-9. Before that the sets were built at 
Howard or elsewhere as Chicago was full of assembly shops then including the 
infamous and mysterious Plant 1
