[Hallicrafters] The Howard Company

Hi All,

Can one of you wizards of the wire please tell me who the Howard Company 
was? Apparently it manufactured radios for Silver Marshall (After McMurdo 
Silver was sued by RCA for patent violations and failing to pay license 
fees) and who the Howard Radio Company was? One and the same? Or two 
different peas from almost identical genetic pods?

The Howard Company vanished in about 1936-1937, or did they?
