Early 2007:
"Orange County Speaker is right around the corner from you in Garbage Grove.
Several years ago I had them recone 4 speakers and they are the best.
The Hollywood music crowd takes their stuff there for repair.

"Substitute bonding
(glue, whatever) material is really no match for the real thing.
GC "Service Cement", P/N 10-302 has only one purpose
listed on its label, -Speaker Cone repair-.
Granted it is expensive, also is a limited controlled substance,
in that it contains Toluene and Butyl Acetate, banned inhalents
for sale to minors and requires an MSSD to be supplied. And
is a restricted product in California I guess.
We have used it in shop for over 20years, found no good
sub. We get it from MCM, as they have the small bottles."
