Hi guys;

I have a MFJ-948 tuner which has a wiper that goes along the coil instead
if taps on the coil leading to switch contacts. The coil has about 50
turns. The wiper arraignment is not satisfactory. It is intermittent and
sometimes contacts two turns instead of one. I want to tap the coil and
use a switch like the MFJ-949F and other MFJ tuners. My problem is: I
don't know where to tap the coil. I know it is not linear. The taps get
closer together toward the top of the coil. Does someone have the time to
open a tuner and count the number of turns for each tap? I surly would
appreciate it. Thank you.
