If members here would like to read your SX-88 points and the several
counterpoints that responded, they can go here and start with your first
post, Reply 27.

In my opinion, the thread died because there wasn't a tremendous amount
of reader interest in a receiver that was hard to procure, with pricing
that was hard to justify, and with possible questionable and/or perceived
performance/value issues. I'm sure if our active members had real
interest in the SX-88, they would have commented. Some of the members
here will probably get a chuckle at some of the comments made there in
regards to the SX-88. But, hey, your pictures are pretty and it shows you
put a lot of work into restoring the receiver to original specifications,
so you can be proud of owning and using a very rare receiver as it was
designed in 1954.
