Please park the snow plow, or riding lawn mower, depending on your long. and
lat., and join us for the Sunday December 20th twenty meter Net!

While it is on my mind, YES there will be the HHI Saturday and Sunday Nets
on December 26th and 27th!

You can read some holiday items on the HHI web site, if you are so inclined.
Some are fantasy tales with a funny twist, others just warm radio memories
of yesteryear and still more are just holiday wishes not radio related. In
any event, from the HHI main page locate the link to The Frogzilla Files and
click on it. Then select either the Pre-Frog tales - originally posted one a
week, or the Frogzilla Files - posted one a month. Both areas will be
featuring Christmas and other holiday tales, some with tails, some not, for
the remainder of this year.

I will be adding both poetic verse and prose articles each week! So what
appears today, will not be all that appears between now and the day of the
fat man from the North's visit! Keep checking! I hope you find some of them
amusing or heartwarning. Mostly I hope you enjoy them.

There "may" be a CD available soon that contains "all" of the Hallicrafters
pre-net story or verse announcements, as well as all of the Pre-Frogzilla
amphibian tales and all of the Frogzilla Files Adventures. Not all of these
have appeard on the Hallicrafters list before! Some have nothing to do with
radio, but are will fun reading. Such as the sixteen single spaced printed
page tale entitled "Snow White And The Seven Dorks!" or the "only" story
that I have ever written a sequel to "Hello DNR? Help! There's A Rodent
Eating My Attic!" A tale based on a real event involving Red Squirrels!

The Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, or 1745 UTC. No fan fare, just
amplifier fan noise!

The HHI 20 Meter Net kicks off with some special amphibian sounds in my
background at 1:15 PM EST/EDT, or 1815 UTC.

The frequency is 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and what
sounds like some soul with a defective Twitter thing on his/her cellular
phone. Although I am totally blind and have tone discriminating ears,
whatever this is it sounds like a bad audio mix of RTTY, some kind of Digial
service and distorted human audio blended with the sounds of chattering
teeth! So listen for us from 14.292 MHZ up through 14.293 MHZ. As we will be
there somewhere!

Here is hoping to hear many of you tomorrow. So be there or consider
yourself as a square wave!
