Hi John,
That's one of the best mics, but it's possible the cartridge in yours is
about dead. The mfgr no longer makes them, so they're hard to find in new
condx, but Mouser.com has a good sounding replacement (that needs a little
mounting work). They have a crystal element and a ceramic one, I've used
them both, get about the same reports with either. their part no.s 25ML022
& 25ML037. You have to use some foam to help mount them. I've used them,
and an original, on my HT-32.
(no connection to Mouser, just a satisfied customer)
