Hi Steve,
This might rattle a few cages, but I use "Revell" model aircraft enamel for
fixing chips and scratches.
It's also good for patching up army surplus radios, as they have plenty of
shades of army greens and greys.
Take time to browse through the range at your local model store.
You will probably find a black that matches the escutcheon.
I found that Revell "matt 66" (a dk grey) almost exactly matches the front
panel of the SX-101.
