[Hallicrafters] SX-101 mark III Question

Mine drifts too sometimes. Wiggle the bandswitch---it stops! I've also been 
told that a major cause of drift in old Hallicrafters (and others) is dirty 
bearing in tuning cap. The grounding spring bearing. I've seen that in older 
rice boxes too when they sat idle for years. Run the vfo back and forth with 
the battery drill gets them over it.
