FWIW IMHO Most 1625 have supressor tied to cathode inside the glass.
National Union and one or two others are only ones that did it so they could
be modified for gg
They were used by Lakeshore in LA400C as an upgrade to 837 (which was
probably quite an under rated version of 807)
Very common to pair that linear with CE 20A for about 400 watts.
Those were the good times.
