I took a GOOD look at the radio in question - proceeded to my local auto-parts super-store, and looked at all the SPRAY "touch up" paints - Dupli-Color and Car Color are good, but for instance:

"Plasti-kote" CAR COLOR worked swell for my SX-62A's

The Gunmetal Grey was "9091 CC" and the Gunmetal Silver was "GM 7121"  - your results may vary, as I've seen S40's in many different shades, like the OTHER models, too.
