[Hallicrafters] Meter for HT-32A

Thanks for the quick response.
The meter works and I tested all components & wiring in line, and I 
believe I have it narrowed down the the tiny diode in the loading coil 
compartment, which seems to be open. It's CR8, with a red and green 
stripe, part # 019-101916. What type of diode can I substitute for this, 
and does it require a high voltage? For example, would a common 1N4007 
be ok?
Also, I hadn't tested the rig on SSB before, it puts out 100 watts on 
CW, but it seems to keep putting out the 100w CW carrier when in one of 
the sideband postions, and just superimpose the audio on that, according 
to my wattmeter, the power out stays at 100 watts. When using the PTT 
switch on the mic, the relay kicks in, but it seems to be as if it were 
key down as well. I'm trying to figure out why it's doing this.
