[Hallicrafters] SX-99 and QF-1

The QF-1 conversion to variable bandwidth was also in the ARRL Hints & Kinks Manual during the late 1950s.  I made the modification (no additional parts required) to the QF-1 that I used on my original Hallicrafters S-85 back in 1960.  It works great!

Somewhere I have both the Hints & Kinks Manual and a scan of the article.
