[Hallicrafters] SX-25 vent "fin" color?

I have seen them both ways but then Hallicrafters never really stuck to a
plan. Perhaps cadmium plating along with the chassis and tuning capacitor
frames? I have an SX-25 here with the narrower SX-24 lid installed in the top wh
ich means the hinge is about 2 inches back from the rear. Also, there are many
receivers out there that do not match published schematics.

They do appear, under magnification, to have a very thin plating which may
be nickel. Several fins and bars here are showing signs of slight rust where
the plating has worn thin or has a thin scratch.
Take a fin to a plating shop and they can tell for sure.
