Hello again Sons of Halligan,
Yes, I am still restoring SX-25s...in fact, two at this time.
I am refinishing the cabinet and the years of crud, nicotine and age discoloration have obscurred the true color of the original ventilation fins on each side of the SX-25.
What color is yours?
I have three SX-25s right now and no two have the same color of vent fins. One is bare (albeit rusty for now) metal, one is silver enamel and one is a grey-slightly-greenish color.
I scraped the grey-slightly-greenish one down and had a local paint shop measure it on a spectrometer and that is what they came up with but I am now sure and would like to poll the SUPER DEFIANT GANG out there.
As always, thanks!

PS--And if anyone has a spare metal brace that attaches the RF baffles together underneath I am looking for one and will happily buy it from you. (The brace is "U-shaped" and is 10.75-inches long, 0.65-inch wide and 0.32-inch deep. The channel of the "U" is 0.216-inch deep. The brace has four screw holes (for securing to each of the four metal baffles) plus two larger screw taps for securing to the underside of the SX-25 chassis.)
