[Hallicrafters] What rcvr to use with a HT-37

Exactly. I have a nice SX-111 that I use with my HT-37. Perfect match and
a fine receiver for both SSB and AM work. Sometimes I use carrier
insertion with the HT-37 and run about 200 watts carrier on AM. Plus the
HT-37 has a drive control so you don't have to deal with attenuator pads to
set the output to an amplifier for AM work. A really pretty combo that
works great. I have lots of receivers here and think the SX-111 is
comparable to many of them in performance. Van, K7VS
