Aside from the insult of boneheaded bureaucrats cramming yet another inferior thing down our throats,
is their only marketing feature spiral fluorescents' ALLEGED lower energy consumption?

Drop one on the floor and you are exposing yourself to some awful toxic gasses.

As for the erroneous claim about the "harmless" and "small DC circuitry" in the base, there is a fire
hazard inherent in spiral fluorescents that far exceeds that of a standard incandescent. Though it's not my website

Techno-idiots: Quit trying to sell your "improved" things to us. They are not. And with
a horrible economy brought to us by the same people who are forcing this and their incredibly stupid 
digital TV on us, we have a  few other things on our minds, thank you,  than buying all new light bulbs.
