Whether you like 'em or not, the one thing Paypal has done is 
democratize the process of electronic payments.  Now anyone -  
individual or small business -  with an email address can send and

made obsolete on several fronts).    There's not much doubt that 
electronic payments are the way of the future, what has yet to be sorted 
out is who pays for it.    And who, beside Paypal, will step up to the
