Please drift on in and join us on Sunday August 24th for the HHI 20 meter 
Net. Pick a number, place your wagers and see if you can win the sunspot 
lotto! It seems lately it is either a feast of flares or a flame famine. The 
propagation proclamations are so seldom even close to what is really 
happening that the Space Weather guys using computers to predict what the 
Sun will, or will not, do, have ceased signing their names to them!

There will be propagation tomorrow, count on it! As to what planet it 
affects ...

The HHI Pre-Net commences at 12:45 PM EST/EDT, (1645 UTC). No fanfare or 
flames, just a little rust breaking loose from my tower and decorating the 
roof with those reddish speckles.

The HHI 20 meter Net will start at 1:15 PM EST/EDT, (1715 UTC).

The frequency will be 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and 
residual echos from the Big Bang causing a sizzling sound on the band that 
causes humans to leave their Ham radios, grab a frozen Sirloin of beef from 
the freezer and fire up the grill! Makes one wonder if it is really an echo 
from the Big Bang or some sneaky subliminal Ad gimmick by the Cattle 
Producers Association!

Listen for the HHI 20 meter Net from 14.292 MHZ up through 14.293 MHZ. 
Depending on Quirks, Quarks and Quacks from disoriented Canadian Honkers 
leaving for the south way too early, we will be in there somewhere!
