[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters S20R

Group -- I've been watching the exchanges on the Halli S20R, and I would
like some knowledgeable input from those who know the machine. I have just
finished rejuvenating one and am sending Clay my second, now unneeded unit.
My question is: my S20R is running very well, all aligned and pulling in
stuff from all over on all bands, but it seems to very hot. especially the
6F6 output tube. I'm running it at 110 V; I have a new Hammond power xfrmr
which is putting out about what the S20R parts list says it should.
Resistor values are within tolerance and it is completely recapped. There
is no voltage table given with the unit, so I have to assume reasonable
voltages for things. Can anyone give me clue about the heat issue, and also
what B+ voltages should be, particularly at the output? Thanks for your
interest in these antiques.

                        Dick Bidwell
