Sola Constant Voltage transformers may be frequently found at hamfests at 
very attractive prices. They handle various output currents, usually more than 
enough for several boatanchor receivers running at once. The average unit takes 
125V and reduces it to 117V. Some have adjustable input and output voltage 
taps. Read the attached information plates carefully to assure you get what you 
need. 

By the way, restored or not, I never leave any of my collection running when 
I am not physically present in the room, just to be on the safe side. I also 
turn them off with a master switch in addition to the normal power switch on 
the unit. I also pull the plugs during storm season. Antennas, if connected, are 
also removed.
