There is absolutely no reason to match any USA made versions. One source is
someone with old car radios, the 6V6 was used extensively in single and PP
stages from the 40's to mid 50's. The PP Buick Delcos sounded better than
any ham or SWL receiver for some reason and that includes my NC-240D's.
