Hi Joe,
    Nick gave you some good advice regarding identifying a SX-28A vs. a 
SX-28.  Don't go by the webbing between the spokes on the tuning knobs 
- I have both a 28 and a 28A and both have webbing.  The HA on the 
serial number and the snap-on clamps on the RF cover positively 
identify the A model.  Both are good receivers, I encourage you to buy 
it if the condition is good and the price is right.
