[Hallicrafters] Noise on 40 meter band?

Not often on the air except to test a radio, but noticed a sweeping signal on the 40 meter band from about 7.1 MHz to 7.4 MHz.  It's not the radio because we fired up the spectrum analyzer and it is a sweeping signal.  The woodpecker of the past allegedly was caused by HF over the horizon radar which I haven't heard for years.    Anyone know what this manifestation is?  Kindest regards Jim K9AXN
