Hi Bill,
I've just seen "Letters From Iwo Jima" by the same director, very moving
film. There is a considerable amount of radio gear shown at the various
Japanese HQs on the island.
Best source of info on Russian cold-war gear would be "Wireless For The
Warrior" volume 4, but where you'd lay hands on that type of gear.....?
Plenty of standard Russian comms gear around that would probably fill the
job.
