Hence just a poor selection of descriptive termonology for the radio 
"package" that Bill was describing.

Thank you for the additional elaboration on the S-119K too. What follows is 
quoted from Chuck Dachis book "Radios By Hallicrafters".

MOUNTED 45" TELESCOPING WHIP ANTENNA FOR THE SHORT WAVE
