Hi Pete,

I would say from past experience, don't sweat it.  I sent my application and 
payment in back in December and the check has still not cleared my bank.  This 
is typical operating proceedure for those folks.  You can expect to receive 
your materials 2 to 3 weeks before the hamfest. If not, that is the time to 
start making phone calls and sending emails. It is really difficult to get a 
response from them any time.  On the other hand, when you consider the sheer 
volume of correspondence and individual wishes they have to deal with, it is a 
marval that they are able to pull it off. Even in these days of computers and all 
that good stuff, they are volunteers for the most part and are probably doing 
the best they can.
