[Hallicrafters] Off-subject question on telephones

I, too, have a rotary phone in use. I did not , however, connect the second 
pair for the ringer to function. I thought it might load down the line too 
much with all the other extensions connected. Interestingly  enough, my 
Sister-In-Law informs me that the phone company wants $175.00 to come inside 
her house to hook up a second phone line. Needless to say, guess who got 
elected to handle that task.
Sigh....
