Yes, that does look like it might be the Gonset unit. I had one in
abt 1958-59, tried to figure out how to hook it into the radio in the
family 49 Chevy (didn't get it done). I had a Gonset Super 6, and a Webb
( I think) 10m only xmtr. Think it had a 2E26 in the final, and probably
only one other tube, doubling in both osc. & final. Not very efficient,
but seems like much better groundwave coverage than you can get on 2m
mobile simplex, and occasional skip contacts. Great top of that sunspot
cycle.
The Webb was from a small outfit in Hartford, CT, I think, that had
folded before I got it, somewhat used, can't remember from whom/where.
