[Hallicrafters] HT33B HV transformer problem

The high voltage winding should be in the 100 - 130 ohm range with a DMM.
The number should be good for just about any 2kvac 20 - 25 pounder.
Suggest you use a light bulb in series with the primary and a variac if you
suspect a problem. The bulb will normally glow faintly. If the transformer
is shorted out or semi-shorted the bulb will light up the room.
