[Hallicrafters] Paint and Repaint

Enlighten us Tom with some splinters off that sage neuron receptacle of
wisdom as to how a 'crinkle finish is known to receive with a norm peak of
+/-2Db over that of a 'wrinkle' finish.'. Some claim it is due to the spray
can nozzls angle, taking into account your Long./Lat., then factoring in
your elevation above sea level + the percentage of Nitrogen to Oxygen for
said altitude, then the ecliptic angle to the Sun and angle of right
asscension when the dominant cloud species are Stratos Nimbus. Then after
all of this scientific data is put into the litmus test of reality by
actually pressing the button on the spray can, we find out the real secret
to getting the desired 'crinkle' or 'wrinkle' or 'crinklw with a wrinkle'
finish was that the original painter had an allergy to the solvent used to
dillute the paint which caused him to sneeze at random intervals, and with a
random factor of +/- 5 sneeze seizures per session, was how he got that
angle with a three dimensional dangle glare factor! However, was it the
mucus from his nasal passages being propelled onto the cabinet causing the
dips, drips, sags and wrinkles or was it due to his arm being jerked around
by the nasal contortions associated with a sneeze causing the crinkle look
on the cabinet? Which makes about as much sense as why no two cabinets ever
painted with a crinkle finish look identical. But that gets into one of the
infamous Hallicrafters stories of "how many shades of gray actually exist"
and "did Hallicrafters ever use all of them on the same model in the same
year during the same production run and if so, which model was it?"
