Cool look back to the past. Dick, doesn't the "B" have 5 round knobs? The one in the picture 
looks like it has 4. I suspect it's an "A" or a "C". Given that the article was published in on 
6/52 and the house was built between 1950-51, it's probably an "A". According to the 
Osterman book, the "B" was available in 1952 while a the "A" was 1947-50. Also, the "C" had 
a black dial. The one in the picture looks white. Could be wrong. I've never had or seen an 
S38(whatever) in person.

Wonder where it is now. Probably show up on that auction site soon :-)
