[Hallicrafters] BAMA mirror problem

Hi Jim,

Re Your question as to whether or not 'this' forum is the proper place to
discuss the Boat Anchor Manual Archive or not. No it is not.

Just the same, for whatever the motivating factor, most of those who
encounter problems, real or imagined, physical or perceptual oriented, post
the question or complaint list on one of the QTH.NET lists. There does not
appear to be any one list that is given greater attention for such posts,
just whatever list name springs from the depths of the valley of neurons or
comes into the visual field of Mr. Mouse at that moment in cosmic
chronology.

While the posts I generally "see" are either asking why BAMA is not
operating or complaints about the poor quality of the free manuals etc.,
almost NEVER a "thank you" or words of "praise and appreciation" to
owner/admin Kenneth Grimm. This man is made of some substance yet to make
its debut on the Periodic Chart Of Elements! He is tougher than a bus
station steak, more persistant than a hungry junk yard dog that envisions
your buttocks as a choice prime rump roast and more tolerant than a computer
bit and byte conversion counter from machine code to binary! You do a
fantastic job Ken! Even though this totally blind Wizard of things Magical
can not see your super web site Ken, maybe one day it will be cost effective
to convert schematics into tactile raised line representations with Braille
captions or light pen tracing of the raised lines and the path spoken via
synthetic speech. A reality right now, but simply not cost effective.

Carry on -
