Join us on Sunday April 15th for the HHI - Halligan's Hallicrafters
International - 20 meter Net.

Remember this! Even if you can not hear the NCS, namely W8DBF, or any of the
designated relay stations, we are there! Somewhere among the hissing of
clouds playing 'Bump And Zap!', as in static crashes. Through rain or snow,
hail or winds that blow, frozen hail or sleet or sunburn that peels your
feet, one of the HHI NCS or relay crew is out there with an ear to turf,
listening! So if silence prevails, like no adjacent flack?, not going to
happen! But if near silence is present, just call for "W8DBF" in the proper
manner: "Yo Fischer! Like get the wax out of your ears and the Lead out of
your butt! Where the heck are you dude?" If you receive no response - which
may include the sound of a nose doing some serious snoring by one of the
realy crew who insists on leaving his SR-2000 on VOX!, keep on calling! As
soon as the propagation permits, and we snatch your wireless wonder out of
the air, we will respond!

So silence mixed with static crashes does not mean we have abandoned you, as
we have not!

The Saturday 40 meter Net has been having a regular 300 mile radius Zone Of
Dead plagueing it! So all of you in states not generally heard on a Saturday
afternoon, here is your chance to check in and be heard!

The Pre-Net is from 12:45 - 1:15 PM EST/EDT (1645-1715 UTC) and the HHI Net
proper from: 1:15 - 3:00 PM EST/EDT (1715 - 1900 UTC)

The frequency: 14.293 MHZ usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and adjacent
signals whose bandwidth seems to just get fatter! But that is why somebody
invented narrow filters. Hey! Who invented the first optional user filters
anyhow? Anyone out there know?

Hear you tomorrow!
