Good afternoon to all:
Have been chasing a highly intermittent quirk in the SR-2000 for years.  When you turn the high voltage on, it has an audio tick about every 3 seconds and when the high voltage is on, it ticks more frequently.  Over thirty years with these radios, I have found that every 5th one has this quirk and none have ever failed in any other related way.  We have tried to pull them out of the case, turn them up on the side, and put a probe on to chase it back, but it ceases.  Anyone had better luck or one that is consistent?  We would entertain the idea of your shipping a consistent one to us so we could isolate the origin and put this behind us NC.  We continue to search for another PS-2000 in any condition.
