[Hallicrafters] Question SX-100

A little more info on this SX-100 that followed me home. I also thought it
was a SX-96 at first but after a closer look, this is what I observed so
far.
#1 - It has the ant trim and xtal cal controls.
#2 - The pretty trim piece behind the knobs is not plain, has a pattern.
#3 - Factory installed extra tube 6BY6, or it sure looks factory.
#4 - Choke full of .022 bumble bee caps.
Maybe a hybrid between the SX-96 and a SX-100. I was told it mite be a
SX-96A. Well if there is such a thing, its setting right here in front of me
and sounds great.
